5 Things To Like This Week


  1. LoveSweatFitness on Youtube. I really love watching this channel for meal prep, fitness, organizing, and recipes. Katie runs an inspiring social media business. I really like watching people online who are conducting business and are selling stuff, but they don’t make you feel like they are selling you stuff. That’s the trick, really.
  2. Dip Powder Manicure. I tried this instead of my usual acrylics and I looooove it! It’s so low maintenance. All you do is pick out your color and then the nail tech paints on some acrylic adhesive, dips your finger in the powder a few times, and then your done. No UV lights. No fills. No bending or breaking–like gel nails. Plus, this style of manicure is better for your real nails too. I keep mine on for upwards of a month, depending on how fast my nails grow out.
  3. The Good Place. I like this show because it blends philosophy with Dante’s Inferno. It’s just a fun show to binge.
  4. Plants. More specifically, adding plants to my house. This has made me feel happier, I just know it! I have devil’s ivy, a nice, medium sized fern, a large aloe plant, and several succulents. I am just trying this out because I haven’t had the best luck with houseplants in the past, but I’m really going to try this time!
  5. Lizzo. Talk about female empowerment! I’ve even added a Lizzo station to my Pandora. “Baby how you feelin’? Feelin’ good as hell!”
