5 Things To Like This Week

  1. Luxury seating at the movie theater. What? How have I not experienced this before? Recliners and enough space so I can see over whoever decides to sit in front of me? This sweet seating was the only good thing about, “Once Upon A Time in Hollywood”. Terrible film. Well, Tarantino, you can’t win ’em all.
  2. Holy hell The Handmaid’s Tale. This show seriously frightens me. Like, this shit could seriously happen if we aren’t careful. I try not to think about it too much when I am watching it. Disturbing is an understatement.
  3. The Society on Netflix. This show is really . . . interesting. Basically it’s about this town where all the grown-ups disappear as well as anyone not a senior in high school. Plus, they cannot get out of town as a thick forest has grown all around them. They still have electricity, running water, and food rations. It’s intriguing to see how these “kids” reconstruct a “society” and everything that entails. Think “Lord of the Flies” meets “Dawson’s Creek” or “90210”. Well, I just found out Netflix is keeping them around for a second season. I’ll tune in.
  4. Peace Tea Zer-Oh Pinepple Groove Green Tea. I’ve been waiting for Peace Tea to come out with a sugar free option. There is just way too much sugar in the regular teas and they did! And it’s pineapple! It’s my latest obsession.
  5. Daily Harvest Meal Service. I’ve just started this service. In fact, I just had my first oat bowl this morning and it was fantastic. I plan on writing a whole blog entry about my experience with it. I like that the cups come pre-made and frozen so all I have to do is heat them up. They are also not processed at all so you get whole fruits and veggies in the servings. I ordered a month’s supply. We’ll see. So far, so good.
