5 Things To Like This Week

  1. Bleachers. I just recently got into this band with Fun front-man Jack Antonoff. They’ve been around since 2014, so not new, but I love them. The singles, “I Wanna Get Better” and “Roller coaster” are pretty popular. The videos are gold. The music isn’t too deep or anything. It just makes me happy when I hear it and I like that.
  2. The Republic of Tea Detox Green. This little powerhouse is labelled as a “super green tea”. It contains Japanese matcha, green tea, chlorella, green apple, and mint. I’ll tell you what sold me was the green apple and mint. It’s a nice pairing. The Republic doesn’t really mess around with their teas either (and they are not cheap). So I feel pretty good recommending this blend. You get energy and antioxidants from the green tea and matcha and then flavor from the green apple and mint. Tea’s on at your place or mine?
  3. Beekman’s Goat’s Milk Soap & Lotion. I was gifted these two for my birthday from my Mom. She raved about them! The soap she gave me is substantial and the lotion is lux not greasy.
  4. Hair & Nails. Self-care is not just about Epsom salt baths and burning sage. I have to remember to schedule things like a hair trim and nails into my schedule. I wear acrylic nails so they need upkeep. Doing this just makes me feel put together. It’s a treat I give myself every 6-8 weeks and every 2-3 weeks. Remember that these things are a part of self-care too.
  5. FREE SHIPPING until December 15th at the Etsy shop MysticTeaTrinkets.etsy.com So, if you’ve had your eye on something from the shop, now would be a great time to save some moola! Kinda my Holiday present to you!
