5 Things To Like This Week

pablo (5)

  1. House Cleaning/Chores. You know what? I’m super busy (like most of us). My least favorite thing to do in my whole life are chores, like the dishes, vacuuming, and so on. I thought to myself, Can I afford to hire someone to come in and do a few chores? Turns out that YES I can work this into my budget. And OMG it’s the BEST THING EVER to come home to a clean house. I’m not even asking this person to do deep cleaning, just like, 4 chores and the rest I do during the week. I can’t believe how much of a difference this small job has helped me. If you were on the fence about it, I would say give it a try.
  2. Lipton Cold Brew Iced Tea. I love having iced tea at hand all the time. During the summer it is easy to make a big batch of yummy sun tea, but in the winter this cold brew is delicious. I like to add a little Truvia to mine.
  3. Lavender Essential Oil. I need to buy this in bulk. I use it in my Doterra diffuser every night for relaxation and snooze time. You can also put it on the palms of your hands and the soles of your feet for maximum absorption.
  4. Clinique Lash Building Primer + Clinique High Impact Mascara. I have blond eyelashes, so when I don’t wear mascara I look like I’m half awake. I love this primer and mascara by Clinique. It builds upon your lashes and make them lengthen and pop. This one’s pricier than the drugstore mascara, but it’s my main makeup staple–so I splurge.
  5. “Love” on Netflix. This show has already made one of my “5 Things To Like This Week” entries during Season 1. Now that we are on season 3, I’m into it even more. This show is so great because it really depicts what being in a relationship is like– from the fighting to the silliness.  Judd Apatow (the dude who brought us “Knocked Up” and “The 30 Year Old Virgin”) really captures the characters and what it means to . . . well, love.
