How To Clean Up Your Facebook Newsfeed

I used to get really burned out by FB.  There was a TON of negativity in my news feed.  I used to contemplate deleting my entire profile once a week!  I actually did delete it once and lost contact with a lot of cool people.  So, with that being said, I have some tricks for you to try!

I just want to give you a quick tutorial on how to avoid the drama.  It is really, really EASY!  Unfollow people, bands, news organizations, or products that bring drama into your life.  Trust me, you are not missing anything, and if you are, that’s what “search” is for.  Check out how easy it is to “unfollow”–and NO ONE KNOWS you’ve done it.
You can also put people on a “Restricted” list.  This prevents their status updates from showing up in your newsfeed, plus it only allows them to see the information you set as public.  So, if you still want to interact with someone on Facebook in a more passive way, the “Restricted” list is a perfect option.
  1. Cick on the “Friends” button on the person’s main page.
  2. Scroll down to “Restricted”.
  3. Click and a check mark will appear next to “Restricted”
  4. Done!
If you are feeling the down pull of Facebook’s massive information overload, bro–clean up your newsfeed.  I promise you will smile more!
Please remember to FOLLOW my FB Page though!  I try to keep the vibe UP!
Love YOU,
Nik
